At least seven high-profile locations were hit in India's financial capital, including two luxury hotels where dozens of hostages are being held. The buildings are now ringed by troops. Gunmen are also said to be holding people captive in an office block.Police say four suspected terrorists have been killed and nine arrested. The city's main commuter train station, a hospital, a restaurant and two hotels - locations used by foreigners as well as local businessmen and leaders - were among those places caught up in the violence. Commandos have surrounded the two hotels, the Taj Mahal Palace and the Oberoi Trident, where it is believed that the armed men are holding dozens of hostages.

Sarah Palin's Turkey Interview

Liberals are all atwitter about Sarah Palin's interview at a turkey slaughter house. She was there to pick out her family's turkey for Thanksgiving. The obviously sheltered folks at Huffington Post are just outraged at Palin's cavalier attitude as turkeys are slaughtered in the background. The liberals' dismay is quite funny actually but not as funny as their oblivousness as many of them will share in a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner themselves.

After the pardon Palin proceeded to do an interview with a local TV station while the turkeys were being SLAUGHTERED in the background!! Seemingly oblivious to the gruesomeness going on over her shoulder, she carries on talking for over three minutes.


Considering Sarah Palin has been hunting for years and knows how to field dress a moose, of course she's going to be unfazed by what happens at a turkey slaughterhouse. If the libs are shocked by how these turkeys met their demise, maybe I shouldn't tell them that my Thanksgiving turkey wasn't slaughtered as Palin's was, but it was shot by a hunter friend up here in the woods of Northern Michigan.

How To Start A New Business?

I have been involved in entrepreneurial activity all my life. I grew up in several family-run companies and started a handful of businesses before graduating from high school. I have started several businesses as an adult and run a consulting firm that deals specifically with startups. I have taught entrepreneurism in elementary, jr. high, high school, and college and run a non-profit that teaches entrepreneurship to teenagers. Through it all, I have seen hundreds of startups and attempted startups. While I am aware of no cookie cutter approach to success, I have developed the following five recommendations for starting your own successful business as a teenager.

1. Keep it as simple as possible. Your business idea may not be a completely new idea. Great! It will more than likely be a service based business like cleaning, landscaping, delivery, babysitting, etc. Excellent! These businesses are simple to start, easy to understand, and are great ways to learn the ins and outs of starting and running a business.
2. Don’t worry about finding investors…you won’t need any. If you can’t come up with an idea that you can start for under $100 you are making things too complicated (see recommendation #1).
3. Get paying clients today. Don’t forget that the underlying goal for every for-profit venture is to provide a product or service and get paid for it. It is too easy to get sidetracked with creating a cool logo, developing a fancy website, or writing a comprehensive business plan. Successful entrepreneurs understand exactly how their business makes money and they are able to focus the majority of their efforts appropriately.
4. Be an entrepreneur. Teenagers who want to start their own business must have the entrepreneurial drive to bear the burden and take the project to the next step. No excuses. This is where most entrepreneurs fail as entrepreneurs. They simply don’t push their business hard enough. Every person you meet should know about your company. You must be able to ask for business and push a little harder to get the sale done. Successful student entrepreneurs understand the difference between “Can I mow your lawn?” and “What time on Saturday would be best?”.
5. Pick a business that really interests you. Startups require a lot of hard work and sacrifice. Seventeen-year old Blake Caldwell spends thirty hours a week growing his business and has not only run Krazybone Industries for two years without pay, he has invested thousands of dollars of his own money into building his website at www.krazyboneindustries.com. Its summer soon and its time for the much expected summer camp ! I've always loved to go for summer camps and treks during my holidays. Its so much fun i know. National Alpine Summer Camp is something which is special and stand apart from the other camps i've been or planned to go. They have a 10 day camp planned now at Mt. Hood Oregon, the one which has never failed to thrill and entertain its visitors. They have 2 programs for this, one is a 7 day plan and another is a 10 day schedule. Varanam Aayiram Review !

After a greatest delay, finally the movie has hit the silver screen, creating a lot of hype among the audience. Thats why the tickets for the entire weekend was sold out once it is released. But I am not sure of the box office status on the forthcoming days. Ok lets look into the story line.

The movie opens with death of an old man(Surya) at his residence. This news has been passed on to an army officer(surya2) who is on his way to a mission. His flashback on his life, from childhood till date, with his most adored and disciplinarian father. After schooling, the son surya enters into his college life at tiruchi, but ends up watching movies than attending classes. After his last semester exams, on the way back to Chennai he meets the beautiful Meghana (Sameera Reddy) on train and it is love at first sight. Being a guy who has never looked at a girl, he pulls out his guitar and sings En iniyia pon nilaave!

He comes back to his home and settle the debts of his dad and excels in his new business. Meanwhile Meghna gone to do her MS at Berkley University, California. With his parents permission, goes to America and win over his lady love. But by the plot of fate, Meghna dies in a bomb blast. Returning home india, surya suffers for this loss and indulges into drugs. To bring him back, the dad surya and mom simran tries all possible ways, and sends him kashmir to change his mindset. There he meets his co passenger menon in trouble(his son being kidnapped). Surya saves the life of Aditya, son of menon. This flashes his mind to persue a career in Army. And becomes an army officer immediately. Here suddenly Divya enters the plot, carrying her total love towards surya. Her love will soon be accepted and ends up in a successful marriage and kid too.

Gautham simply wrings you dry with his overplay of emotions in the father-son bonding. The climax is heart wrenching and heartwarming as Surya’s breakdown and tears roll down his cheek which looks real. The best part of the film is the first half, especially the wispy romance between Surya and Sameera Reddy, with the scene where Surya falls for her in the train is

hilarious and romantic. And when Sameera says finally – “I’m in love”, with Surya playing around with a toy helicopter at Fort Point, which offers the best view of the Golden Bridge in San Francisco, the romance tugs at your heart. Only Gautham, a romantic can make such scenes work.

Ratnavel’s camera is eye-catching as it pans California, Dehradun, Delhi, Rameswaram and other locations and gives the film richness. Surya’s make-up, his six pack look and old man get-up is very good.

The music of Harris Jayaraj is first rate and tangy, with meaningful lyrics of Thamarai. This is Harris- Gautham’s last film together and the combo is simply terrific. Four of the songs before interval are shot beautifully like a music video, with Adiye Kolluthe… and Nenjukkul Peidhidum.. being the pick of lot, while two songs post interval mars the tempo.

The power-packed performer award belongs to Surya, who is outstanding in a dual role as father and son. Shorn off any artifice, his anguish, pains and joy look real. The female star cast is simply too good, whether it is Simran playing Surya’s mother, Sameera Reddy pure eye candy and brings an uninhibited joie to her role as Meghana. Divya is outstanding, investing her character with sensitivity a far cry from her Kuthu days.

On the downside, the film is excruciatingly slow, and in the second half plods as the director has no story to say. All of a sudden why did he make his hero larger than life? The Delhi kidnapping and the hero solving it has been done to bring out his heroism, which sticks out like a sore thumb. Is there not a cut-off age to join the army? Surya’s character is far too simplistic. The thing about a father backing his son to go to America and win over his lady love just doesn’t wash. An ordinary middle class, Tamil family speaking so fluently in English does not gel with viewers.

On the whole its a modernised version of cheran's "Thavamai thavamirundhu" in which Rajkiran is a poor village father, whereas here Surya(Dad) is a father of modern times working in central govt. But the former had so many realisitic feelings clustered together, but the latter ends up in a messy mixed over reactions.

Voice Search in Google Mobile App for iPhone

Last week saw the Google’s Mobile App for iPhone released, including a Google Voice Search allowing Apple fans to search by talking rather than typing into their handset. While the app may be awesome, there is one problem: you not only have to speak English, you have to have an American accent.

As Dave Jeyes detailed on Blorge last week, Google Voice Search isn’t that new, with the company’s engineers toiling for years to create a successful voice-activated search engine interface. Google Labs first released Google Voice Search in 2002 but the new iPhone service has a much bigger chance of catching on than that failed attempt.

However, there is still one hurdle that needs to be overcome if the iPhone version of Google Voice Search is really going to become as huge as it deserves to. Google helpfully warns that “Voice Search only works in English, and works best for North American English accents,” but saying it works best for American accents seems to be a slight understatement.

British users are reporting some bizarre search results when they speak in their normal, regional accents. As Yahoo details, users have found their iPhones mistaking the word “iPhone” with “sex,” “Einstein,” and “kitchen sink.”

The problems seems to be affecting iPhone owners with accents as diverse as Scottish, Geordie (Newcastle), Cockney (London), and even the Home Counties which are where BBC English usually reigns supreme. Bizarrely, the Yorkshire accent seems to get the best results of any regional British dialect.

The only solution at the present time for anyone outside of North America who wants to use the app seems to be to put on a U.S. accent. Which means that British iPhone users will soon be walking down the street putting on their best deep south American drawl or mafia-inspired New York affectation in order to search for the latest football results. Maybe typing is easier and less embarrassing after all.

Indian Tiger Dies After Blood Transfusion

The first tiger in India which under went a blood transfusion died today. The tiger was named Juhi and it was attacked by the local villagers some days ago. Ghost story - Was it really ghost?

I don't really know how many of you believe in ghost or existence of them. But i certainly do. May be the world has changed, got sophisticated and automated but the stories of soul and soul traveling could never end and it would always be there in the world. Remember if some one encounters such a soul and even if he is going to tell others, he is just gonna be mocked which is a main reason why such incidents and evidences are mostly covered up and never shown outside. I have always liked to talk to the ghost researchers and i know someone who works for this field study. I managed to get time and talk to him and he did say that the has a lot of proof for the existence of ghost but is not allowed to share it with me as of now, as the research is still in progress. He added that the ghosts mostly don't cause any harm to anyone and its only our mental instability and biased fear which makes us loose our nerves and sometimes go crazy.

I would also like to share with you guys a true story which he had forwarded me:

The story below is a real one and was narrated to this research organization as it would be useful for their study. They have still not resolved this issue but he said they have come up with a lot of conclusions and evidences which match the similar incidents which had happened long years ago.

I've seen it, the black wolf, it's real. It was in October of 2007. I also saw two other things that day I cannot explain, but especially the wolf. This is the first time I have ever recalled this event in detail to anyone since it happened -- it's much easier anonymously.

In late October '07 when I was 32 years old, or nearly exactly a year ago, I was home alone all day one day up until the evening. That afternoon, I began to hear a voice speaking to me in my mind, although it sounded audibly as if someone were speaking to me in a deep voice using a loudspeaker from outside in the yard, and speaking through a large fan, if you can imagine how that would sound. In response to this, I suddenly began to feel an overwhelming sense of fear, and that fear hit me on and off for the rest of the evening. The "sound" as I will call it, because I'm sure it had to be in my mind, was telling me it was my time to go, and that it had come for me. I was always raised up in the standard Christian belief and so on and so forth, so I reasoned that this voice was either A) the voice of God Almighty wanting to take my life, or B) the voice of the Devil or Antichrist wanting to do the same. Being the type person who definitely wanted to live, I decided on reason B to be what I would go with, and I put up a fight against what I was hearing, though I was shaking with fear.

Imagine if you've never had such an experience, and all of a sudden one day you hear an unknown entity talking to you (corny analogy but the thing I was hearing sounded kind of like Darth Vader talking through a fan). I was too terrified to leave the house, or even the den of the house which I was in, as I constantly felt like I needed to watch my back, so I decided to setup my own personal barricade to defend myself. I turned on all the lights in the den and adjacent kitchen, and in an attempt to drown at least some of the fear I was feeling, I drank two beers rather quickly that had been left over in the fridge a few days before. Hearing the entity saying it was coming for me, and assuming that meant something really bad, I was petrified but at the same time a bit pumped up with adrenaline I guess. I would look around that afternoon and get a glimpse of a shadow darting in parts of the house that the lights were not on in, but were dimly lit by adjacent rooms. I only assumed what I was seeing and hearing was the shadow of death the Bible talked about, aiming for me. Eventually, I came up with a brilliant plan to help ignore the entity's voice -- I sat down in the den in my green soft-back chair, with all the lights on in the den and kitchen still, in front of the TV (TV turned off), and I picked the guitar and sang. This helped a lot! Finally some of the fear was lessening, though I was still very frightened -- what had happened?!

I kept telling myself, "Ok, none of this is real, I am just hallucinating, and it will go away." I was on no drugs, only the two beers I had drank, and I smoke cigarettes. Well I sat down and played guitar for I know at least three straight hours, feeling much better that I could drown out the "voice" I had been hearing.

Side note: Once during playing I needed to use the restroom after drinking the two beers, and I probably shouldn't say this, but might as well be truthful and tell it all, I was so scared to move away from the lighted rooms to the restroom that I found a good use for the two beer bottles, (like the movie Dumb and Dumber, except this was "Scared and Scareder").

While playing I remember distinctly thinking back to all the people I had met, friends, girlfriends, and family that I loved, and calling them out by name. This was in itself unusual, as normally when I play guitar I am just thinking of doing the tune well. Anything to get my mind off what had happened earlier in the day. As the sun went down and evening began, everything seemed much better, I didn't hear the voice any more, until I noticed something wasn't right. This was something I hadn't picked up on earlier. After I stopped playing guitar, (and at this time had developed the sense I had won this battle) I looked up into the TV screen at the reflection -- something was not right here, not right at all! I wasn't in the reflection!

Well, there it started again, goose bumps developed immediately and my hair stood on end. I waved my hand in front of the TV set (remember, the TV was off, and you could see the reflection of my den and kitchen in the screen as all the lights were turned on in those two rooms) and could see nothing of me, only the chair I was sitting in, and the rest of the den and kitchen. My jaw dropped, the fear was back. So I did the only thing my terrified mind could think of, I picked up the guitar, started back playing and singing, and tried to look only at the guitar. The sun had completely set by this time, I remember. I played for a few minutes, but this time could not get my mind back off of being mortified -- why wasn't I in the darn TV set reflection! I dared not to look back at it, but to keep playing, but after a short time -- maybe 10 minutes, I looked back into the TV screen reflection. I was still not there! And by this time I began to see the reflection changing even more, in fact each time I looked up from the guitar, the scenery in the reflection became a little different than that last time I had looked at it. Another glance up, and I saw several things in the reflection that didn't belong. In the reflection only, on one of the other chairs was a large cardboard box, which of course wasn't there when I looked around -- I had no large cardboard boxes! I played guitar, sweating with fear, and then another glance into the TV screen reflection -- this time, the box is still there, and I see a coffin! Not a modern day coffin of the $5,000+ variety, but an old-time coffin, made of wood and cut like they were back in the 1800s, sitting on top of the kitchen table! I cannot describe the fear I was feeling at this time.

The guitar had become useless to drown it out at that point. Another glance up from my futile attempt at playing, and I began to see what looked like two small but blurry animals sitting in the chair I was sitting in (And I'm still not in the reflection). Another look into the TV screen after that and I saw the thing that petrified me the most -- the two small blurry animals in the chair I was sitting in were gone. Instead, they had become large, crisp, well-defined pitch-black wolves with bright white glowing eyes staring straight back at me from the TV reflection. I jumped up out of the chair and turned around and looked, but nothing was there, Thank God! But I look back into the TV screen reflection, and it's still there! Staring back at me the entire time. When I saw the wolf, I felt, "This is it, I'm really going to die, I guess," but thankfully nothing happened. I didn't get eaten, and I'm still here to tell the story. That thing was there in that TV screen reflection for at least 45 minutes, if not an hour. I have no idea why I heard what I heard that day, and saw what I saw that night in the TV reflection, but it was by far the most terrifying day I've ever had in my life. Even more terrifying than the day I nearly had a head-on collision on a wet highway, if you can imagine that, as this event persisted over hours.

Finally, my mother come by that evening and I left the house to go visit her and dad. I told her what I had experienced that day but I'm sure she had no idea what to make of it. I was just relieved to finally get away from the terror. I don't know what happened, or why it happened, I only know what I saw and heard that October day a year ago.

I've since wondered, why a black wolf? I could care less about wolves, really, have never thought of them, and especially black ones. I like cats and dogs, but a wolf? I have no explanation.

So, I did an Internet search on "black wolf" and spirit trying to see if anyone had ever experienced anything similar, and found this site, and decided to post my story, in full, as best as I remember it. Other than this, I've never seen or heard anything I couldn't explain. It has me perplexed, and I hope to at least find a reason or cause for it someday. By the way, the large cardboard box I saw in the reflection that night, I have come to believe that may have been a symbol for moving, as soon after that event my mother moved in with me when my dad had to go to the nursing home. But mom and dad are still doing well, and I have lost no friends or family since then, so I don't know what the coffin meant, if anything at all. And especially the wolf, no clue there, but it was terrifying. **

Car bomb in pakistan

Two persons have been killed in a bomb blast near city Nazim office here on Monday. According to police sources, a bomb blast occurred outside city Nazim office near Liaquat Bagh in which two persons were killed and several injured. The blast also damaged the nearby buildings and vehicles parked in the area. Police have cordoned-off the area after the blast. Ambulances and fire tenders have reached the scene and rescue operations underway. The injured have been shifted to hospital.

The increasing tend of terrorism is definitely going to cause a major loss to this world. If Pakistan is as well not spared from terrorism, why dont they just end up in a compromise over India? Why dont the developed countries form a union or organization against terrorism which operates world wide with assigned power and position to control such incidents from happening in the future? It could definitely bring about a change if such things come to force soon, we could live in a better world tomorrow where our coming generations would not be forced to see what they expect to come - BIO WAR !
